For most practical purposes, I am going to say the 7000 does not control RF devices!!! The RF that the Pronto sends out is an IR signal that the pronto has converted to RF to be sent to the Pronto RF receiver that then turns that RF signal back into an IR signal to control your compoents.Using the RF option allows you to controll IR devices in other rooms or equipment behind closed doors in your audio/video cabinent.

To control your RF fan the Pronto and Fan would need to be the same frequency and you would have to have a way to learn to RF commands to the Pronto. For the average user this gets way to involed to try and do. Dave Houston is the local expert on RF and Pronto's and has a web site that explains a lot of this in detail. Don't remember the website address, but a search in this forum should locate it.
