Either the Pronto 3000 or the 7000 will do what you need with the Dish 811 ( and about any other IR controled device). If you have the bucks go for the 7000, its display is one of the best on the market. I run two dish receivers, a sony HDTV, sony receiver, panasonic DVD, RCA VCR, a bunch of X10 stuff and switcher box with my 7000 and 3000 Pronto's. If you liked your Sony AV 3000 then you will love a Pronto.
