Couple things to try:

* Plug it into a different USB port on your computer for testing.

* As far as I know the docking station is passive to USB; ie. it only routes the appropriate wires from the main docking station connector to the USB plug on the back, so I would look at the two connectors for possible damage.

* The DS3000 works fine (I've had a TSU7000 sitting in a DS3000 for several years now without issue), the only small thing is that the *remote* doesn't indicate on the LCD that it's being charged (by flashing the battery icon) but the station otherwise functions perfectly.
