Ok. Back to the USB issues. I got the touchscreen to respond now, but still no USB. Just to get things on an even playing field, I opened my remote, disconnected the LCD and touchscreen, and connected the USB. My laptop finds it right away. Connect John's, nothing. Both remotes are powered up and responding to all hard buttons at the time of USB connection. John's still takes about 2 minutes to boot, where as mine only takes a few seconds (as it usually does).
