Considering the scope of what the IPronto could conceiveibly do, an addressable interface could be a useful tool in whole house intergration schemes where IR or RS 232 routing for multiple similar devices such as DSS receivers and CD changers.The addressable devices could also work in a web based control scheme to where the devices controled in the IPronto "system" ( lights, security. cameras, etc ) could be controled remotely while away from home.
