I am familiar with the IR7243W. You said it was something else.
tried pronto / X-10 RF
These only work when sent as RF. It's my understanding that the iPronto cannot send RF.
tried pronto / IR543 / IR543ah
With the IR7243W set for housecode P, the Pronto/IR543AH codes should work.
