The iPronto has no facility (at the moment at least) to receive data from the wireless LAN (other than configuration files from the config software) and so it would not be possible to have the iPronto display any sort of variable data in this way.
Whether this may change in a future firmware release is another matter - I know that I have spoken with various people at Philips about this (at some length) and they have expressed an interest however the difficulty is in how to handle any "reporting back" - how to get the data sent back to the iPronto in a way which is manageable, extendable and not useable by just a few proprietry bits of equipment.
