I'm a new iPronto owner (1 week now), and love it for the most part.
I've been lurking on the forum here for some time, before buying (to confirm my decision to buy), and since getting it (to guide me through some issues on firmware upgrades and other issues). Thanks to all.
Now for the question... Since NetX is a standard 802.11(b) device, and can be addressed via it's IP address (e.g., Ping 192.168.1.106), is there any way to control the NetX, and thus the equipment attached to the NetX's IR devices, through PC's on the network? Has anyone tried this?
Also, wouldn't this capability suggest that there should be an 'emulation' mode in iProntoEdit? In this mode one could test one's buttons and sequences directly from the software, with the IR codes being sent via the network to the NetX, and then to the devices?
Is there such a capability?
