It is possible to stop the iPronto getting that far and enter your network settings manually (no fancy gui though - it's all text based) - can't remember the combination that needs to be pressed off hand but I'm sure I found it on here once when I was searching for forcing a firmware update ... so perhaps search on "force firmware update"?
You will need to find all the information that the iPronto needs from your other WiFi devices though.
Hint : Don't have your iPronto using DHCP - that seems to be the root of many network problems! Give it a fixed IP address.
