OK, I searched for this but didn't find my specific answer. I just got an iPronto and it has really old firmware (1.5), maybe because it's a factory renewed unit. So, I can't use iPronto Edit because the current version isn't compatible with 1.5. However, I can't update because I get an error "can't connect to boot.pronto.philips.com".

I am connected to my home network (802 G) and can view internet sites, the iPronto WebPortal, and download the EPG. I reported this to Philips support and got the "I think that site might be down" excuse.

Now, when I go to the above address I get a page that says "boot test", and when I ping it, the ping fails. Is that normal? And if not, how long is it usual down, and what does it do when the site is up? If the site is really up, how do I get around this?
