I have taken this past week and looked at all the .icf files that peeps have been so kind to upload and clearly put many, many hours of hard work into.
However, just starting out with the iPronto, before I go to that extreme, I am trying to get a basic layout of each of the 12 remotes I hope to replace that could be imported and merged into a custom .icf (if I understand what I am doing.)
Is there a place that has icf files that are in essence digital replicas of the physical remotes? That would be a great starting point for n00bs such as myself to get familar with the iPronto before moving to the l33t stage?
For example, Dish network really only used 2 or 3 types of remotes - Esentially an older black model for the 6000s, a newer silver for the 811 and a Silver one for DVRs.
Same goes for the current slim white Directv Remote.
The Sony HDTV remotes are very similar in layout (normally with an extra button added as they evolve) and used on multiple models as well.
The Scientific Atlanta Cable Boxes /DVRs use a similar remote.
etc. etc.
It's even worse if one is non-artistically inclined for making these things in photoshop - such as myself :(
Thus if there was some place to find the digital "replacements" that would be a great help for us n00bs before we get to the next stage of modifications and macros.
