Well Good Luck, I think its a problem with Bose's end. b/c the controller detects the key in learn mode with the Logitech software. The problem is after you update the controller with the new commands, the Bose display cannot read the IR signal from the Logitech controller even with the IR turned ON in the Systems Menu of the Bose V30. Let me know if you have any luck, and I'll continue to try myself and keep you posted if I get this to work.
