In my experience there are no discreet video input codes for the NEC 42 MP3. I have a workaround that will allow to have discreet IR video input control. Xantech has a black box called the IRS232 that will take IR codes and translate them to RS232. All you have to do is program the correct strings for the NEC, and plug the IRS232 into the RS-232 port of the NEC MP-3. Send the appropriate IR codes and you NEC will respond with the appropriate Video input.
