The newest version of MakeHex is now available at

[Link: john.fine.home.comcast.net]

(4.01 adds support for the whole family of RC6-M-L protocols, plus it lets you select the toggle state for ordinary RC6).

MakeHex is a program for generating clean Pronto Hex.

It is useful for cleaning up learned signals (after decoding them with other tools). It is useful for testing all possible commands of a given protocol and device number to find discretes or other functions missing from the original remote (but do not use it that way until you have found and read a few posts on the subject of the risks of sending such commands to your device and decided for yourself whether to take those risks).

I emailed a slightly earlier copy to be included at

to replace the very old (2.0) copy there. But it isn't there yet and I've already written this version after it.
