Sounds like you did everything right. In pronto
edit click one of the numeral buttons, then the
"action tab" comes up, in the large box above
it should highlight the name of the command in
blue, double click on that, ADD-IR dialog box
appears and a view IR button, when you select
that the hex code will show up.

Hey,

That worked! I was able to see the IR codes. However, when I imported the ccf file into the MX800 editor, using the Universal Browser, I do see the numeric buttons, grouped in panels of 25 buttons each. I then dragged and dropped each of these buttons to "learn" the code. Downloded to the remote and spent 30 minutes testing each of the 256 codes. None worked. Not even one. After another 30 minutes or so to try a;ll codes again, only slower, nothing.

Which leads me to ask, should I try another nec device file thru MakeHex? There is a nec2.irp, and also a necx.irp. How is it determined that the momitsu uses nec codes?

I don't want to seem rude, just want to learn.

Thanks.

Once you see that there are IR commands, then
test a known command on the unit to make sure
it responds. Let us know if you find any new commands.
