Yes, the Hitachi Plasma TV's do use NEC1 protocol, device 80. The 3E hex is the function number 62 decimal (and 3F is 63). Why is Video1 the same code as PowerOn?
I think the RTI or AMX can use Pronto Hex format, and with MakeHex you can easily generate all the Pronto Hex strings for NEC1 protocol, device 80.
