The RX-V3000 has a clearly delineated section on the back panel with the Zone 2 audio/video outputs clearly marked. The PDF I have of the DSP-AX2 mentions Zone 2 capability but the back panels differ. If you don't see Zone 2 outputs clearly marked then I'm unclear as to how Yamaha expects you to implement Zone 2 control on this unit, unless there's some ability to re-assign another set of outputs, but Yamaha usually has more common sense.
Be aware that on the RX-V1 you cannot send any DTS encoded signal to Zone 2 and it's probably the same for your model.
