jeez... *more* attitude?! "looks like i'm not
going to let you have the codes"? what the hell
have i said, multiple times? i didn't want to
do that if it wasn't legal. yeesh! how hard
is that to comprehend?

there's this little thing that's been in the news
quite a bit over the past few years... perhaps
you've heard of it. it's called "intellectual
property rights". now, i realize that you folks,
with your high-powered, lucrative careers as remote
control code experts, you guys probably don't
have any concerns about lawsuits over that sort
of thing, but me, with my measly $100k software
developer's salary, i can't afford to take that
sort of thing for granted.

wow... i came in here looking for help, and instead
i not only get treated like a friggin' idiot who's
too stupid to read, i have to deal with tempermental
"experts" who throw hissy fits when they hear
that someone might actually know more codes than
they do!

fine, you want codes? i'll copy and paste them
right here. you fine, helpful folks can format
them, and copy them into files, if you want...
i'm sure as hell not doing it for you.

and once i hit "Post Reply", i'm outta here, and
won't be back... you folks are just a little too
high-strung and territorial for me.

HTH. HAND.

OMG, what a self-righteous prick! I sincerely hope you weren't lying when you said you won't be back, because you'll really be doing us all a favor if you just go away and stay away.

Just in case you are lurking to see what response you got to that outpouring of verbal diarrhea, I do have some constructive critism for you. Before you post anything else to ANY online forum again, please read the following document. I didn't create it and am not connected with the authors in anyway, but I think it offers some excellent advice for how one should conduct oneself in forums like this.
