I couldn't understand what Woodmeister tried and what results he got.

TV/0054 and TV/1254 on both the 15-2104 and the 15-2116 can "accept advanced codes". They aren't like most 1*** setup codes on most new models, which need JP1 for any advanced codes.

If Woodmeister meant that the published EFCs in 0054 didn't work but some other EFCs in 0054 did work (which is my best guess at his meaning) then that is exactly what Joe needs.

Otherwise, I should warn you that EFCs in TV/1254 on the 15-2104 act exactly like EFCs in TV/0054 of both the 15-2104 and the 15-2116, while EFCs in TV/1254 of the 15-2116 are different, including 64 commands that are not possible at all in TV/0054.

Joe, your initial posts on this subject were about the best asked question I've seen in these forums. The subject line had everything a subject line should have and the question was clear and concise and included all the relevent facts. I'm sorry that such a well asked question hasn't been rewarded yet with a good answer.
