The SL-9000 is a great remote control. However the macros are so poorly implemented that it makes them nearly useless. When you assign a macro to any device, it is also assigned to all of the devices in that row on the remote. In other words, if you assign a macro to AUD, it is also assigned to CD, DVD and AUX in that row. If you assign a macro to SAT, it is also assigned to TV, VCR and CBL. I just can't understand the logic behind this implementation. If the macros were implemented so that they only worked for the device they were assigned to, they would be really useful. I repeat other than this fault, the SL-9000 is a great remote. If they would only change the macro implementation, I would buy another one in a second.
