I see some difference in my contrast. It goes from illegible to really poor contrast. Does anyone have an MX-1000 with decent contrast? I have to use the backlight 100% of the time to see my screen even at the highest contrast setting. I'm wondering if I've got a dud screen.

The pictures of the MX-1000 in the HTM magazine ads shows a beautiful crisp screen with no backlight added. One of those "Pictures Shown are Enhanced" disclaimers needed for these ads?
