I'm anxiously awaiting the arrival of the MX-500, but does anyone foresee any of the problems people are having with the MX-1000? Shouldn't this just be a very straight forward learning remote, (like an ultimate SL-9000), since there won't be any software to download and minor screen work to program? I want to be able to buy the thing and either use the codes or have it learn my other remotes, without it being a hassle. Or, is there a tendency when a company has software problems with one of it's products, it could very well carry over into another product? I'm sure know one has a definitive answer, but since I'm ready to buy a remote right now, it sure would give me some incentive to wait until the MX-500 comes out.
