1. I completely gave up on coping buttons, finding that going to the trouble of creating and teaching new ones was much more reliable.
2. When LCD buttons cloned I deleted both of them and created new ones - seemed to eliminate the problem.
3. On two occasions the buttons cloned were the rubber ones on the face on the unit. I never could get rid of them. Tried erasing both the button on the LCD and the rubber, tried erasing the entire device - no joy. In my experience, when a rubber button becomes cloned there is no option but to wipe out everything and start over. On both occasions it was "favorite channel" buttons that jumped over. So the last time I deleted all favorite channel buttons in the unit before starting anything. All worked fine. I can upload and download - only lose machros on download. Strange.
