I have MX-1000 and need advice as to the proper procedure for programming it.I have read many messages and am rather confused. Is it better to:

A.1. Begin with remote;

a. Preprogram buttons or
b. Learn buttons that are not preprogramed or
c. Do Both 1 and 2


2. Then Upload to computer;

a. Delete unneeded buttons.
b. Relable buttons
c. Create needed new buttons and label them.

3. Download to remote.

OR

B. Reverse sequence and do the layout on the computer first.
