THANKS so much for all the good advice here in the forum...As a home owner (who is a "geek") I debated long and hard on getting the 850, since it is a bit of $$

But, I decided to do the programming myself... Things like this reset are just not in the manauals...

Well, long story short, my laptop started hanging when trying to talk to the remote, and the things was "hosed"...

While it may not be 100% yet, the reset, clean installation, etc. have let me reload the stuff into the remote.
