Hi -- I was reading through these threads and was wondering if someone could assist me with my new Yamaha 390BL surround sound system. I'm trying to control the volume/mute for it through my 2 year-old DirectTV HD DVR white remote (RC34) and programming the Yamaha codes provided by DTV via AV2 doesn't do the trick. I have video out connected from DTV to my Sony TV and optical out from DTV to my Yamaha. So TV/video is controlled with my RC34 remote and audio with my Yamaha remote. With my previous Sony stereo system my RC34 controlled video and allowed me to mute and increase/decrease volume. I'd like to replicate that with my new system. Thanks! David
