Okay, I went bee-boppin' around town and found a few options, and I need yous guys' opinions, please!

Sears had One-for-all Cinema 7 Learning for $25.99 - it had a MENU button, and if that puppy can just get me to my Panasonic and Mitsubishi scheduled recording screens, then will I be able to do my scheduled recording/programming with just the Cinema 7??? Well, I guess I could buy it and then return it if not, but......

Radio Shack same as ALWAYS, was out of stock!! The guys couldn't find the 15-1994 in the back room even though the 'puter said they had two in stock!!!!! Hate that place! Price label said it was $30, but I didn't even get to look at it!

Wal-mart had One-for-all Cinema 6 learning for $19. Nah!

Sound Advice had the One-For-All Producer 8. That was pretty cool, but they wanted $80. BUT it did have that MENU button!! I'm dying to find out if that button is the gateway to my Panasonic and Mitsubishi scheduled recording screens!!!! If it is, and it controls most of my Sony TV, Sony STR-DE925 AV Receiver and Yamaha 5 disc cd changer functions, then it's got my attention for sure!!

I'm hoping to spend less than $50 on my new remote.

BTW, the guys at Sound Advice who are supposed to be way on top the game had no clue about using a Palm III or V or any other PDAs as remote controls, but were HEAVY pushers of the Pronto. I gave them www.remotecentral.com so they could catch up! LOL!!

THIS IS A GREAT SITE!!!! Everyone's very helpful!

THANKS for any help!!
