Gen 2 products are not necessarly more reliable in every situation. In a vast majority of Gen 1 installs there are no problems, therefore no need to try Gen 2. If you have to have Gen 2 with the SA products check out Web Mountain. Their products are the same as SA and are now available in Gen 2
