first the "laser" sorry the phasering of dolby over dts well different signals are at different levels you may have the dts set up properly and the dd set up pants.
play around with the settings rather than running to mummmy forum to put a plaster on it (persistance pays dividends).
second most discs pause half way through as they change layer (too much info for one just straight play through)live with it !get over one second of your life pausing.
you sound parinoid about your set up dont!
