What I want is a remote that looks and functions like a wall computer on Star Trek TNG. It could use RF and sit anywhere and have a IR transmitter for the equipment. I could sit it anywhere (on the wall even). Anything like this out there? I suspect using an HP Palm computer, I could write a program to do this and make lots of money. But I'd rather buy a dedicated piece of hardware.
