Glad to see that you got the codes working. The best way I have found to keep the screen relatively clean is to use your fingernail, not the tip of your finger.

As for ease of use, I have a Proscan 61", and that is on almost all the time. So we watch TV, DVD, and VHS in that order. TV viewing is a no brainer. For the other two activites, I have built macros that switches the inputs and sets everything else up so that watching the DVD is insert disk, press "DVD Magic". Then you just sit back and relax.

Acutally, for me , programming the DVD comes with its own set of challenges because my DVD is in a PC Cinema machine. So I have bigscreen web surfing, gaming, etc. The downside is that the controls for DVD are software and mouse driven. Can't really have a transport screen.
