I have resolved the programming issue and the TC-1000 is now controlling all of my components including: Sharp Projector, JVC VCR, Denon 3600 recvr, Pioneer DVL 919, Sony TV.

The unit recognized only Sony TV and JVC VCR, although I have not verified 100% functionality of the preprogrammed codes - will do so in the future.

My problem with programming was "impatience". I was not pressing and holding the keys long enough - oops.

So far, my wife has only two negative comments - 1) the touch screen gets covered with fingerprints, must be constantly cleaned - 2) product was engineered by Microsoft.

Once I get the required operational specs from wife, will build macros to meet ease-of-use needs.

Note: It would be great if there were an RF version of this unit.
