OK, i think i may have finally worked this one out.
See if you agree. I have configured my TAKE CONTROL to act much like a web site.
As an example: WATCH A LASERDISC contains buttons on the first screen to < skip fwd, >skip back, two macros for turning on the AMP, TV and LD, and also for turning it OFF, rew, play, fwd, direct LD input on my amp, eject,stop,pause,TV/AV on my TV,side A and side B. As you can see, everything you would need to operate your LD player. Now for the clever part! I have set up activity links to TV, AMP, LD program, LD misc., and the best one is too ALL DEVICES. These hyperlinks, if you like, allow me to quickly move between components without resorting to the home menu all the time. I have set up similar screens for my VCR, TV,DIGITAL TV and RADIO.
Does that sound about the right way to go about it?
Has anybody else spent a couple of hours programming this thing, only to have your PC crash or lose some of the data on the TC?
Cheers.
