I just got my IRIQ ($249) and did a quick program of some the basic functions. The only component I had trouble with was my Denon CD. But, I have the original remote so the codes were easily learned.

So far I give it a strong positive review with the exception of the size. If I had a table next to my favorite viewing/listening location I would be happier with this.

I think the home screen will ultimately be best loaded with all the necessary macro's.

Here's the question...there are preprogrammed codes for x10, which is the only remote I have yet to be replace. I have read here that the IR to RF converter to use is the Command Console from Smarthome. When I called X10, they said the proper converter is their Powermid. And elsewhere in Remote Central I read of the IR543 being the best IR to RF converter.

I am looking for the smallest converter, no controls on the converter is preferred opting to the remote instead. I prefer the look of the Powermid but asthetics are second to performance

Thanks in advance for your responses!
