Hey, Rob. Thanks for being so helpful. Okay, at this point I'm pretty convinced this isn't gonna work. It's very frustrating. I had actually already reset the remote to the factory defaults (which actually controls my TV, so that's pretty cool) and reset the learned keys (I missed that you could do that separately at first). But, it still doesn't learn the buttons from my receiver's remote. And I just tried short bursts like you said and it still isn't learning the buttons. I'll have to get back to you on which codes I'm using for the VCR and DVD player (both Toshiba) 'cause I have to reprogram them. These are the buttons I had learned:

For the VCR
Timer (two buttons held down together)
Remain Counter
Eject
Input Select

For the DVD Player
Audio
Subtitle
Angle
Last Play
Subtitle On/Off
Zoom

So, that's only 10 buttons anyway. I should've had a lot of memory left, but we know that wasn't the problem anyway. Thanks again.
