I just bought a 15-1994 (4/17/00) after reading this forum. I had no problem finding one here in NJ, for $29.99.
Brought it home and tried to set it up with my JVC 4000 Dish Network receiver to no avail. The codes in the booklet and on the web didn't work, and neither could I get it to "learn" the code directly from my Dish receiver remote. I also tried scrolling through the codes, at least until my thumb cramped up. Anyone got any suggestions?

If I can get the Dish receiver to work with the 15-1994, then I can move on to the Panasonic DVD (DVDs aren't even listed in the booklet! When was this thing written? 1989?)

I hope I can get this thing to work. I do like the design and especially the "suede" finish!
