Based on the comments from this site, I purchased a model 15-1994 remote control today at Radio Shack. I think it was well worth the $29.95 price.

A single remote now controls my home system, which includes:

Mitsibushi large screen TV
RCA DSS receiver
Toshiba DVD player
RCA VCR
Kenwood 209 Audio/Video receiver
Phillips WebTV receiver
Home X-10 controls

Where there used to be five remotes, now there is one. With the use of macros, a single button powers all up/down. Three other buttons auto select either DSS, Cable/WebTV, VCR, or DVD. There is now no more confusion among other household members on how to turn on the cable, etc…

I have also created a simple Web site for the 1994. It is located at:

[Link: websink.com]

It includes a summary of basic features and programming steps, links to other sites with current device codes, and a discussion area where user feedback, comments and questions can be entered.

I will revise the site based on any suggestions and/or comments from others.
