I also purchased this remote entirely based upon the recomendations here. I went to RS and bought it without even trying it out. I've had it a week and I've already put all my old remotes (7 of them) away since I don't need them anymore. Its great and I haven't even programmed any macros yet. I prefer it to the Cinema 7 due to the backlighting. My wife kept trying to talk me out of the $300 Pronto and I think this one has me convinced. Count me in as another satisfied user.
