The Light Switch Remote is only a Single Button Remote.

One Quick press of this button will switch the lights either On or Off, depending on the intial state.

To Dim the lights in gradual steps you merely hold down this button until the desired light level is reached. Generally, from lowest setting to highest setting and vice-versa you need to hold the button down for approximately 3-4 Seconds.

The AV3000 does not appear to transmit a continuous signal whilst the learnt button is depressed. It will merely transmit for about 1 Second and then stop transmitting until the button is depressed again.

I hope this explains the problem better than my first post.
