I had the same exact problem when programming my 3100. I tryed to program the A key for my cable box and now whenever I try to delete it my 3100 just freezes. I tried resetting the component, doesn't work. I tried LEARN2, doesn't work. I tried every other way but I guess I am just going to have to reset my whole remote even though I already programmed a bunch of different components. :-(
