my remote turns the tv on and off and then scans through some channels..it skips a lot in the channels past 12...(1-12 work sequentially) after 12 it will skip to 20 then to 27...and i get reception on the other channels.

the"Menu" orange utton doesn't work either.

when i try to program the code..nothing comes on after i depress the "s" and "power"

what a i doing wrong or is the sony trinitron too old..?

it does have dials for adjusting the color, tint and so forth.

27" sony trinitron..two tone dark grey and light grey on top chassis.
has speakers running vertically on dual sides of the screen..

help??
