I know this is an old thread but I'd like to try adding an antenna as I had to move a RFX6000 to behind the TV and it's now very hit or miss and I can't find a RFX6500. The links seem to be dead. It's only been 18 years. :)

I think that is just in the RFX6500. I've never seen the RFX6000 with the red LED not on.
