How are you managing the cable exit detail between the soffit / wall for automated blinds / curtains etc ?

Over the years ive used box lids ([Link: toolstation.com]), with a hole drilled in the middle, which ended up looking surprisingly neat, but never 100% convinced with it.

How do you handle the cable exit detail ?
