If you're planning on purchasing an MRX-2 base station and using either the Android or iOS card for activation, beware that URC has removed the mobile apps from Play and iOS App store. There is no way to download the app to a new device. I can still download to by my iPad and Android phone, but when I replace them the mobile app is gone.

If you have the app on a mobile device and it's working, DO NOT uninstall it. It is no longer supported by URC and you will not be able to use your MRX-2 or mobile device as a remote.

The CC Control app is nowhere to be found. I have 2 MRX-2 boxes that will be useless if I replace my iPad or Android phone.

Don't waste your money and buy one on eBay as if you don't have the app on your mobile device, you're out of luck. They are still supporting the hand-held remotes and those can still be updated.
