Final update...
This issue was in fact caused by the soldered conductors. No insight as to why some doors were affected and not others but it could be inductive voltage. The manufacturer has recently altered the circuitry on these wired openers to accomodate functionality features as a result of a lawsuit.It seems this makes them a bit sensitive.

The solution posted by goldenzrule is not compatible with this new version. I solved this by hacking compatible wireless units. I need to find a decent 3v power supply to bypass the coin battery. All is good now.
