I agree. I did stock up on light switches and appliance modules so I'm hoping I'll be good for a few years yet. I got all the X10 bugs out (95%), but seriously, I spent 10 times more time trying to get the system working than what I would have spent just getting up to flip the switch, haha. I see that these days as well. Another friend's smart bulbs stopped working because of a failed firmware update in his hub I think. He gave up trying to fix, tossed them and bought new.

I bug my girlfriends daughter - she has a gym membership, and when she goes to the gym, she drives up and down the parking lot, looking for a spot closest to the door. Get out and walk! haha
