Connections: Xfinity DVR into TV, ARC out to receiver
They are having audio sync issues. Unless I’m mistaken, they should be able to adjust audio delay in the receiver or the Samsung.
They claim they are syncing the audio using the Samsung audio delay, but then, “a couple days later” it’s out of sync again.
Is this a thing - aka another HDMI vudu problem. They are too tech challenged to adjust delay in the Denon. I will have to do a service call.
These people are incredibly annoying LOL but I want to fix the issue once and for all for them. Not sure if I should get a new cable box or which is the most expedient approach.
I plan on checking sync when I go out using the apps baked into the TV to see if the sync issue is still there - if not, I’m going to recommend a new cable box and will try to set delay using the Denon. If that doesn’t do it, then I will tell them they have to use a universal remote, so I can bypass ARC. (right now the system powers up and operates fine for them just using the Xfinity remote and ARC which they like).
