There are some codes that just never seem to learn.

I suppose there is a possibility that you could have toggle codes, I don’t know if anybody uses those nowadays or not.

Some of us have used an intermediate learner, like an old Philips Pronto which seemed to be one of the best learners on the planet. I also keep an RTI learner in my truck and it has saved me in a pinch.

10 years ago, I had an Onkyo learning remote in my truck and it saved me a couple times. I don’t know why, but it seemed to learn codes that I could not learn through the URC software, and then I could just point that at the URC remote and get it to work.

At this point in my working career, I would probably just tell them to get a real sound bar. But if you have the gumption for it, you can probably waste a whole bunch of time, and maybe get lucky.
There is no truth anymore. Only assertions. The internet world has no interest in truth, only vindication for preconceived assumptions.
