Using Win 7 Pro. Changed the PEP2 compatibility mode to XP-SP3. No difference in how PEP2 behaves. Changed compatibility mode for the ProntoDataService, that eliminates the database update failures.
Thanks for the tips, I'll try continuing with PEP2.
