I recently purchase a used TSU9400 remote on eBay. It looks in very good shape and after downloading my configuration file, everything seemed to work perfectly. 99% of the commands that I execute are WIFI-to-extender-to-equipment in the basement.

Every now and then, I use ‘line of sight’ IR to something in the room, say a portable fan. For my three other TSU9400’s, this works perfectly and the fan (or the other line-of-sight IR equipment) will accept the direct IR code. For the new remote, nothing happens.

I’m assuming the worst; that the IR transmitter in the TSU9400 is broken, but thought I would check and see if it might be something else.
